In a good position beside the fishing port which was interesting watching how they went about their business. Good breakfast no complaints about that, Beer bar service spot on Bed room service was normal like you would expect from a holiday hotel

Good location, close to sights and town, close to harbour and channel. Halfway between town of Bayeux and D-Day beaches. Breakfast was good, same choices each day. Parking is good. Rooms are small and very basic but clean and comfortable. Very quiet area and noise in hotel very minimal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good wifi. Lobby area small but confortable

Excellent Breakfast Buffet. The bed matress was excellent for someone who weighs 110kgs. The Location was perfect in walking distance the shops and restaurants. Please. I request you forward this message to Wladdy at the Reception who was very helpful and went above and beyond her normal duties to assit my Family for our next journey.

Called on way to hotel, to advise could be arriving later than planned, staff spoke English which was helpful. Staff all very polite and helpful. Room as required, twin beds, which were very comfortable, bathroom / toilet good, towels changed daily when room serviced. Room small but not an issue. Continental breakfast good range of food items to choose from. Small bar which was acceptable. Car park at rear very good. Nice 'port' town with good range of small restaurants etc for evening meals. Good value for money.

Super friendly staff, except for the guy that didn't let us take coffee to the room. A/C control. Shower. Soundproof windows. Modern facilities. Room size. Location is very nice but its Port-en-Bessin - a fishing village; Bayeaux 'center ville' is a 15 minutes drive. Parking. Restaurants in Port-en-Bessin (try Fleur de Sel - Cod was mega great).

We stayed at the Ibis,initially for 3 days but this became 4 due to storm Ciaran. the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful with the unexpected extension. The room was immaculate and well serviced. The breakfast buffet was great value and very well stocked and attended to. the car park is secure and easy to get to. The hotel is right on the quayside of a busy and lively fishing port. If you understand this, then the room with a balcony is the one to get,so you can watch the fishermen at work while you have a glass of cidre!

IBIS Port en Bessin for us meets every requirement excellently. It's location is charming and convenient. Breakfast and the the bar are open at hours not offered by so many hotels proporting to be luxury. The rooms are always clean and well prepared with modern efficient shower facilities. But at this property it is particularly the welcoming and helpful attitude of the staff, lead significantly by it's Manager that puts IBIS PEB way ahead of the more expensive hotels in the whole Bayeux area.

The room had a wonderful view right out onto the boating canal and we had a table and chairs on the balcony. Breakfast was exceptional. And never were we rushed. The car park at the back of the property was very convenient, reached by elevator, which was especially nice for me as I walk with a cane. We were a short distance to the town. We drove to the handicapped parking near the port and walked. Many restaurants and shops and we enjoyed the weekly market. Shopkeepers were very friendly. Our French was limited, but everyone was very accommodating.

This is a busy hotel but in a quiet location on the harbour side. Port-en-Bessin is a really interesting place to stop as it is a working fishing port. We enjoy watching the comings and goings from the balcony in the room! The hotel is on the opposite side of the harbour to the town but it is a pleasant and easy walk to the restaurants and shops. We have stayed here a few times before and find it an excellent base for exploring the Normandy sights.

Great location for Bessin. Easy parking. Good selection of restaurants and coastal walks virtually on the doorstep. Also memorial to 47th Marine Commandos who took Port-au-Bessin near the end of the second world war at great loss to themselves.
